The idea came to life when a group of ladies decided that they spent way too much money on a wedding dress to only wear it once. They thought it would be fun to have a “girls” night in their wedding gowns. They could have a few drinks, do some dancing and have a whole lot of fun…..and they did! From this night spun a brand new adventure and the creation of Dressfest.
The Dressfest mission is to continue this adventure every year and raise money for a good cause that will help the community. 2010 Dressfest raised almost $30,000 for London Regional Cancer Program Patient Assistance Program.
Evolution Fitness has partnered with Dressfest to help those who would like to attend the event and cannot FIT into their wedding dress raise money through sponsorship/donations by committing to a fitness program to reach your goal of fitting into your dress to attend the Dressfest Gala.
Registration for programs can be done through the website or contact me directly. This is a fantstic way to lose weight, raise money for a worthy cause and have a fun celebratory event to attend.
